The Stainless King Travel Tumbler comes equipped with a lid which operates simply by pushing the lever 45 degrees right or left to open and close. Because of the double wall insulation, the stainless steel body stays cool to the touch with hot beverages and condensation-free with cold beverages. In order to maximize the incredible insulation technology, it is recommended to either pre-chill or pre-heat the travel tumbler just prior to use. This can be accomplished by filling the tumbler with cold or hot tap water, attaching the lid and letting it rest for a few minutes. This is the most amazing hot chocolate/ice water cup I've ever bought. I mean, I even dropped it twice on concrete and it's still good to go. The last cup, one drop, dead cup. That's why I bought this one. Batman being on it is just a huge bonus. It doesn't leak. I matter what you throw at it. Plus it fits comfortably in your hand without getting hot, it fits your car cup holder nice and snug, and will not leak no matter what. You can toss it in your bag, purse or carry it however you want which gives it a high level of easy portability. It'll keep any beverage hot or cold almost 30 hours. So, talk about being an overachieving performer. Performance? Through the roof. It's not really, REALLY stable without a cup holder or web pouch to put it in; however it's completely leak proof, so no worries there. I'd buy it again and recommend it to anyone. With or without Batman on it. You can ALWAYS count on Thermos to make the best products.
